Siri Shortcuts are a powerful new iOS 12 feature which enables Siri to operate apps like the Moodo app.

What is it?

With Siri Shortcuts you can perform a variety of actions that the Moodo app performs from On/Off fans to enabling Moodo Shuffle.

How to set it up?

Moodo users who are already using the iOS 12 version can enjoy Siri Shortcuts by activating the Siri Shortcut option in their device:

“Settings->Siri & Search->Suggested Shortcuts->All Shortcuts”.

You can tap the “+” sign alongside the corresponding Moodo app functionality and tie it to whichever phrase you like. Siri will obey this phrase to trigger the right Moodo app functionality from here on.

Once you’re done recording it, simply activate Siri, say the phrase out loud and presto…!

List of Moodo app features supported by Siri:

• Fans On/Off
• Apply a random favorite
• Increase/decrease intensity
• Enable/Disable Moodo Shuffle
• Enable/Disable Interval

Google Home and Assistant

There are two versions of Moodo actions for Google, you can use any of them or both.

First – Google Assistant, requires you to activate the action with “Hey Google, talk to Moodo box” and then any of the commands below:

General commands:

“Power on”

“Power off” / “Moodo stop”

say “start” + scent family preset name, for example: “Start Beach Party”

Shuffle mode commands:

“Enable shuffle”

“Disable shuffle”

Interval commands:

“Enable interval”

“Disable interval”

Change fragrance intensity / volume commands:

“Increase intensity” / “Increase volume” / “Increase fans”

“Decrease intensity” / “Decrease volume” / “Decrease fans”

If you want to control specific Moodo device (if you have several) you can add “in/at {Moodo name}” in the end of each command.

To get list of your Moodo device names, just say “List my Moodo devices”

Second – Google Home, the smart home action, where you can assign Moodo device(s) into rooms and use it in different scenes with lights, music and more…

1. In Google Home app – click on Devices, then on “+ Add device”
2. Then tap on “Works with Google Home”
3. Type “moodo” in search and tap on “moodo smart home”
4. Tap “continue” to join between your Google and Moodo account
5. Use your Moodo account credentials to login with it
6. Assign your Moodo devices to a room

Amazon Alexa Custom and Smart Home skills

There are two versions of Moodo skills for Alexa, you can use any of them or both.

Moodo is available for your SmartThings Smart Home!

To integrate Moodo with Samsung SmartThings eco system, please open “SmartThings” app and then:

1 Add device and filter brands by “Moodo” keyword

2 Select “Air purifier”

3 Choose Location and Room and tap on “Next”

4 Use your Moodo account credentials to link your Moodo devices with SmartThings and after you get successful message, tap “X” to finish the setup

That’s all! You will see Moodo devices between other smart devices you have and you can assign them into scenes and use together…

IFTTT (If This Then That) is a free platform that helps you do more with all your apps and devices. IFTTT bring services together into Applets.

Moodo RESTful API for developers

Whether you’re a seasoned developer, or just getting started, use Moodo RESTful API to integrate our data into your applications.

For quick start:

1. Go into “Auth->Login” method and click on a button: “Try it out”
2. Put your “email” and “password” into the request’s JSON body and submit
3. Server will response with “token” (if credentials are OK) and you need to copy it into the clipboard
4. Go to the page top and click on “Authorize” button
5. Put your token into the modal window and “Authorize” again
   This session token will accompany all your requests in the header automatically from this UI.
6. You can call “GET->Boxes” and it will return all Moodo boxes your account associated with.

Homebridge

Homebridge is a lightweight NodeJS server you can run on your home network that emulates the iOS HomeKit API.

It supports Plugins, which are community-contributed modules that provide a basic bridge from HomeKit to various 3rd-party APIs provided by manufacturers of “smart home” devices.

Currently the plugin enables you to turn the Moodo device ON/OFF and adjust the main intensity.
